Landscape Bed Weed Control

When we mulch your beds, as part of our service/ program, we automatically apply a premium pre-emergent herbicide under the mulch.  This product helps control many weed seeds (i.e. crabgrass, dandelions and undesirable grasses) from germinating for about sixty to ninety days after the application.  Another application may be applied if requested.  Contact your account manager for details.  Throughout the year if undesirable weeds or grasses do appear we can apply a non-selective herbicide for control, if contracted.

Turf Weed Control

The Best Defense against weeds are a thick and lush lawn.  A healthy dense lawn will help prevent weeds from germinating because the turf grass will absorb sunlight and other important nutrients before the weed seeds can use them . Applying an early spring application of fertilizer with pre-emergent will help control weed seeds (i.e. crabgrass, dandelions and undesirable grasses) from germinating. Later in the year if other weeds are noticed, we will apply a selective weed control as part of our service.
